Christmas is regarded as the most important holiday for Westerners. Just like Chinese New Year, it is a time for family to reunite, to review the past year and make New Year resolution.
To enable our foreign teachers feel school’s care and best wishes towards them, and also extend mutual understanding between Chinese and foreign teachers and students, Foreign Affairs Office, Foreign Language Study School and Foreign teachers held Christmas Celebration Party with joint efforts on the night of Dec. 25th.
Not only foreign teachers performed their shows in the party, but also students from different classes and majors took an active part into it. Laughter, smiles and applause filled the party. Teachers and students all said that they are more moved by the feeling of being a family, than the party itself.
Besides holding the Christmas party, our school also paid a lot of attention to foreign teachers’ daily living. Taking the present weather into consideration, our school bought ultrasonic humidifier for foreign teachers as Christmas gifts. Foreign teachers were all very pleased to receive the practical presents.
